My second market day was May 13th, the day before Mother’s Day. I made loads of Mother Day cards and sold ALL of them! I should have made more! My next vendor day will be June 10th at Pepper Place and I will make sure I have more than enough!!
After the market day in April, I went straight to my storage unit and unloaded my table and other supplies instead of hauling it back into the house. Welllll, for the May market, I went to the storage unit at 5:30am to get my stuff. But my code wasn’t working! Whattt???!!! Then I saw the sign that says they are closed from 9pm until 6am. I literally had to be at Pepper Place no later than 6:15am to get my spot and unload!
Nothing to do but wait until 6 and get my stuff and then book it to 28th street! Thankfully, the storage place is not far from Pepper Place and I made it right at 6:15 on the dot! I was able to unload and set up well before the 7am start time. So, lesson learned, I will load up my car the night before!!
May 13th was my second time ever to be a vendor anywhere, so I’ve been taking notes each time to improve my setup. I can’t wait until I perfect it! I hope you enjoy my photos from the May 13 Pepper Place Market, in Birmingham Alabama.
